For as long as I can remember, I have been fascinated with design. I believe that it’s not just about aesthetics, although important, it is truly about understanding the needs, desires and personalities of your clients. I have always believed that our surroundings have the power to influence our emotions and behaviours. This is why I am dedicated to crafting environments that not only look stunning, but also function seamlessly for the individuals who live, work or interact with them. My approach to design is rooted in empathy. I like to intently listen to my client’s stories, preferences and aspirations, this allows me to design spaces that are uniquely catered to them. I graduated from BCIT’s Interior Design Program in 2016 and have worked in the industry ever since. It is my goal to make this process a collaborative and enjoyable experience for my clients.

Excellent service and beautiful result. Cara designed and put together a wall bed and master closet. She was excellent and always available with a fast response if there were any questions or issues at all. Highly recommend!- Cara was a marvelous designer. She took our ideas and made them better, worked with us to figure out how to store quirky items, and made the whole design process enjoyable. She is incredibly professional, super capable and efficient with the design program, and very, very good at her job. We had so much fun.
- Cara, from California Closets, did an amazing job sitting with me and showing me all the different options that were running through my head. The office/nook area created more storage and organization for my things and the foyer closet is utilized so much better as an open mudroom style space. From the design to costing and arranging installation, everything ran smoothly and communication was great. There was no sales pressure what so ever.
