I love function, good aesthetics, and the joy of creating. I truly believe design has always been my calling.
My family and I made our move from the Coast in early 2019. The vibrant events in our new community immediately caught my attention, leading me to discover a brilliant opportunity and pathway into design. Working alongside a highly talented designer, I dipped my toes in the design world and never looked back.
As a mother of three, I take pride in my effective listening skills and open-ended approach. This allows me to really understand your needs and create with your very best interest in mind. I look forward to each and every project, as every day is a new opportunity, and each project brings fresh solutions. Together, we will create what's best for YOU, your space, and your needs. We absolutely loved working with California Closets, our consultant Rebecca was amazing, no pressure, so professional on every level. We are also 100 % happy with the fabulous closet that she designed for us. At first I thought there was no way what she designed for us was going to be any bigger or hold all our stuff. But she was absolutely right we ended up with more room that we had initially and we love how she configured everything to look so neat and tidy. We would hands down recommend California Closets and if you are in the Okanagan. Ask for Rebecca she EXCELLENT to work with and knows her stuff- Rebecca McElhinney of California Closets expertly guided us through four closet renovations recently and we couldn't be happier with the overall experience, from initial consult and design to installation day everything went flawlessly. - The ease of communication with Rebecca was amazing. She quickly understood exactly what I did and didn’t want. Within 30 minutes she had a 3D image to show me. How often do you get a 100% stress-free renovation? Highly recommend.
- We retained California Closets to design, manufacture and install two floor to ceiling built in cabinets. We saw their advertisement on TV one evening for a free consult. Rebecca came out and within 1/2 hour of getting to know our wishes and taking measurements, she had a beginning design for us. A visit to the showroom (amazing), and further discussion cemented our dream and within 6 weeks the install was complete. We are VERY happy with our new look and storage capacity. CC did an excellent job. Everything done as promised in the time frame as promised and every person we dealt with was professional, courteous and skilled. And the pricing was competitive too.
