Tyler Lamphier

I never imagined that the friendships I made in Grade 4 would one day shape both my personal life and my career. That was when I first met Mickey Janzen and Jacob, who have remained like family ever since. It was also when I first met my wife, Erin. More than 30 years later, we've been married for over 23 years, have two incredible children, and share a home filled with family, laughter, and a few furry friends. My career path has been anything but traditional. I originally pursued theological studies before discovering a passion for working with youth, where I learned that leadership begins with serving others. From there, I built experience in retail operations, financial services, public relations, and community organizations, developing expertise in operations, communication, financial management, and team building. In 2020, I joined California Closets Southwestern Ontario part-time to help a lifelong friend. As the company grew, so did my role. Today, as CFO & Operations Manager, I have the privilege of supporting an incredible team while overseeing the financial and operational side of the business. I believe that organizations succeed because of people. Every step of my journey has reinforced the importance of relationships, integrity, and serving others. Looking back, all the experiences that once seemed unrelated quietly prepared me for the opportunity to help our team create beautiful, functional spaces that improve the lives of the families we serve. I certainly didn't see that coming in Grade 4, but I'm grateful I ended up here.
